Childish Gambino (Donald Glover) is an uber talented gentleman.   A renaissance man.  This form of creatively honest hip hop is what keeps me enjoying the talented word smiths of today.

Well, we’ve been in love… what say ye?  In love with the created? Good stuff!   As always, excited about what the future holds because we can’t seem to slow down.  Steady making progress because that’s how we’re built…the last of a dying breed. …I actually didn’t want to post this mixed media piece because I just wanted to make a canvas of it & keep it to myself.  Selfish some, but now I want to share the visual I would explain the symbolisms, but “art is whatever you can get away with.”

“COUNTRY BUMPKIN” Recently picked up a pen tablet and, honestly, this is one of the few purchases that I see bringing smiles to myself & elevating some of the tediousness some of our high end editing requires from us…Vismo! Since I’ve been receiving some form of monetary advancements from my photography, I have found myself in front of a computer screen everyday.  No compliants here because I’m doing exactly what I’ve wanted for the past few years, but some things in my childhood I now want to revisit such as my sketchings… …first of many & beware of it making it’s way into the photographs. …Mixed media anyone?

A good friend of mine & co-founder of Vismographia.com, Aaron Thomas, recently said that “it isn’t a tragedy until it becomes personal.”  9-11 is just such a tragedy for Americans as well as 3-11 for the Japanese.  Sometimes we feel hopeless when we see or hear about these things; as if we can do nothing to sway the negative balance.
